Getting to Hotel

Reaching Longoz Hotel is generally easier by car. İğneada is rather in the middle of nowhere in Turkish Thrace, and it’s definitely best to have one’s car for flexibility in getting there and around the surrounding national park. It’s an about three to four-hour drive from Istanbul, with beautiful landscapes of countryside and small towns along the way. Thus, coming to the hotel using one’s car becomes extremely simple and without stress.

There is little in the way of public transport. Coaches run from the main Istanbul bus terminal (Esenler Otogar) out to local district centers near Demirköy or Vize, from whence it is still a dolmuş or taxi ride to Igneada. It is possible that some companies provide direct service to Igneada but do so infrequently and will need to be confirmed. The nearest major airports are at Istanbul (IST) and Corlu/Tekirdag (TEQ), each a few hours' drive away.
